Ecosystem Overview
We understand startup ecosystem as a network of startups, support organizations (incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces, etc.), R&D, funding organizations and service providers developing the ecosystem.
In the new digital and globally networked world startup ecosystems have become largely dispersed. The pandemic of COVID-19 has further accelerated the development of remote ecosystems, resulting in a post-COVID era that is likely to comprise hubs which are not contained to a physical space at all.
Given all the changes and current geopolitical situation, we consider Belarusian startup ecosystem as a network of startups and support organizations on some day founded, registered and based in Belarus or elsewhere and connected with individual Belarusians or expatriate community. This is not a state-controlled or united system, but national wise, connected with real people with Belarusian roots or linked to the nation in any meaningful way.
